英語日記 禁煙に加えて飴までも
After stopping smoking, I started having a lot of candies, basically to fill the void that I can’t help but feel inside. I felt like I could get by without smoking if I kept sucking candies all day long. I continued so and it seemed successful until a couple days ago when my wife pointed out that I got fat especially around my face and belly and that might be due to the amount of candies I ate every day.
It’s been only a couple days since I stopped eating candies too. Now, I don’t feel something bulging from inside— in fact, I would always feel full without a lot of appetite for some time. I don’t have such a sensation now. It was due to sugar I was overtaking from candies.
On top of refraining from cigarettes and candies, I increased the frequency of exercise and started going to a nearby pool once a week with my sons. I already gave up on jogging I started in January because the weather now either is too hot or rains too much. Swimming, Imao, is much better in summer. I might be really in a good shape in a couple months time.
