I kind of believe that there is some life cycle of humans involving after death like reincarnation.

僕は、生まれ変わりのような、死後を含めた人間の何らかの生のサイクルがあると何となく信じている。

At the same time, I simply accept the general explanation of science like the theory of evolution and how earth was born and evolved from single cell organism in the sea to fish to dinosaur to mammal to the emergence of human kind.

それと同時に、進化論とか、地球がどうやって誕生し、海で単細胞生物から魚へ、恐竜へ、哺乳類へ、そして人類の出現までどうやって発展してきたか、科学の一般的な説を疑問なく受け入れている

The other day, I suddenly realized that if I believe in reincarnation and the existence of a type of after death realm where dead people’s souls or the essences of their existence that are supposed to reincarnate dwell temporarily, there must be a lot of animals more than humans waiting for their turns, most likely, billions of dinosaurs inclusive.

先日、もし自分が生まれ変わりと、死んだ人間の魂、もしくは生まれ変わることになっている人間存在の本質が一時的に留まる死後の領域のようなものの存在を信じているなら、人間以上に多くの動物が生まれ変わりの順番を待っているに違いないことに唐突に気づいた。そこには何十億の恐竜も含まれそうだ。

I feel like dinosaurs might have had human-like intelligence since they existed much longer than humans on earth although I don’t think there has been any scientific proof for that.

個人的に、恐竜は人間よりはるかに長く地球上に存在したことから、彼らは人間のような知性を持っていたかもしれないと思う。とはいえ、その科学的証拠は何もないと思う。
