英語日記 お腹が出てきたか?
I believe I don’t eat too much, but my belly might be starting to stick out. Some possible reasons cross my mind.
One thing is that I quit smoking about two months ago. They say that once you do so, your stomach works better and so intakes more nutrients, sometimes excessively. That’s a theory. Another is because of the better functioning stomach, I might have stronger appetite without knowing. That is, I eat more than before and I’m not aware of that.
However, here is a counter-evidence.
I’ve been doing exercise and jogging since January. I must burn more calories, theoretically speaking. Maybe I’ve skipped these routines too often? In fact, this isn’t a counter-evidence at all.
The most possible causing factor is I started drinking instead of smoking. Now I can’t resist the urge to gulp beer, but in reality, due to the financial situations, I only drink a 500ml of fake beer at a time or else a glass of the cheapest boxed red wine.
This is imminent. I have to stop skipping sit-ups. In the meantime, I’ve finished eating a sandwich of strawberry jam and butter cream.
