英語日記 今日はTOEICだった

Today, I had a TOEIC test.

今日はTOEICを受験した。

This time, I’m sure I messed up.

今回はやってしまった感がすごい。

In the listening section, the knack to accelerate solving the problems is to read the given questions and choices to choose the right answers from before the audio conversation sample is played.

リスニング部門では、回答を速くするコツは、オーディオの会話サンプルが流れる前に、所定の質問と正しい答えを選ぶ選択肢を読むことだ。

I had forgotten about this test format, and in some problems, I read the wrong questions and choices, and was at a loss.

このテスト形式を忘れていて、いくつかの問題では、間違えた質問と選択肢を読んでしまい、茫然自失。

In the reading section, due to time running out, there were ten questions that I randomly marked the choices for without thinking.

リーディング部門では、時間不足のせいで、考えずにデタラメに選択肢をマークした質問が10個あった。

I’ve been taking TOEIC tests, four times for the last nine years.

この9年間で4回TOEICを受けてきた。

My scores have steadily been increasing until now.

自分のスコアが今日まで安定して上がってきてた。

However, this time around, I’m sure they will drop.

でも今回は、まず間違いなくスコアが落ちるだろう。
