英語日記 家族との休日
Yesterday, my family and I went to buy some school items for my eldest son entering junior high school. The main focus of the shopping was a pair of white sneakers. Most of junior high schools in my city have white sneakers designated for students as a rule, that the sneakers that they wear in school must be white. Such a rule seems quite stupid to me. But that’s what it is in Japan.
After my son settled on the shoes, in the same shopping mall, we bought some pastries at a bakery and, after the shopping, we ate the pastries inside the car at a corner of the parking garage. Since it was the fifth floor of the building, we could see the scenery of the center of the city with the setting sun from the place where we parked and it was beautiful. It somewhat felt like a special occasion to eat together there.
Back home, we had some time to rest and had dinner, some carry-out food we had bought at the mall with rice. After that, we played a board game until 9PM.
It was mostly like a family day.
